Is It Permissible To Silence A Beggar Inside The Mosque (Masjid)?
What is the position on beggars at the doors of the mosque (Masjid)? Should we give them something or not? Can the imam tell the person who stands up after the prayer and asks for something to be quiet?

We put this question to Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen, may Allah preserve him, who answered as follows
As for the beggars who stand outside the doors of the mosque (Masjid), there is nothing wrong with giving to them if they are genuine, but it is not allowed for them to do that inside the mosque (Masjid), and they should be stopped and told, “Go and stand outside the door.”
Question:
Would the imam who tells them to go outside be considered to be going against the Aayah (interpretation of the meaning): “And repulse not the beggar” [Adh-Duhaa 93:10].
Answer:
He is not repulsing him, he is just telling him to move to a different place. And Allah knows best.
